Day 1: Fez to Meknes

Depart from Fez in the early morning and drive approximately one hour to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four Imperial Cities. Begin your exploration at the majestic Bab Mansour gate, known for its intricate tilework and grandeur. Stroll through El Hedim Square, a bustling area that offers a glimpse into local life and serves as the entrance to the old medina. Visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the resting place of the Sultan who made Meknes his capital in the 17th century.
