DETAILLED ITINERARY
Day 1: Agadir to Marrakech
Your journey begins with a pickup from your Agadir hotel, heading towards Marrakech to start our 6-day adventure from Agadir to Chefchaouen. Upon arrival in Marrakech, our local guide will meet us in the medina to explore iconic landmarks like the Majorelle Garden and El Bahia Palace. Wander through the bustling souks and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Jemaa El Fna square before returning to your hotel for the evening.
Day 2: Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou & Dades Valley
We depart Marrakech after breakfast, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass with its winding roads and stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains. Our journey takes us through the Thousand Kasbahs to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient kasbahs and scenic views. After exploring this historic site, we continue to Ouarzazate for lunch in a traditional Berber restaurant and a visit to the renowned Ouarzazate Film Studios. Continuing through the Valley of Roses and Skoura’s palm groves, we arrive in the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay in a charming hotel.
Day 3: Dades Valley to Sahara Desert – Camel Ride
Start the day with breakfast amidst the scenic beauty of Dades Valley, then head to Todra Gorges, famous for its towering canyon walls. Journey onward through the desert landscape to Rissani, where we visit its bustling market and explore local culture. Arrive in Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert, where a camel trek takes us into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner and spend the night under the starry desert sky at a desert camp.
Day 4: Sahara Desert Tour to Fez
Awaken to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara Desert, then depart for Fez via Erfoud and the stunning Ziz Gorges. Pause in Midelt for lunch amidst the Atlas Mountains, passing through the scenic Middle Atlas region with a visit to the Cedar Forest in Azrou. Continue to Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Little Switzerland,” before arriving in Fez for an overnight stay in a charming Riad.
Day 5: Guided City Tour of Fes
Explore the ancient city of Fes after a delicious Moroccan breakfast, beginning with a guided tour of the Royal Palace, adorned with intricate zellige tilework and cedar wood carvings. Visit the serene Jnane Sbile Gardens and explore the historic Jewish Quarter, Mellah. Wander through the labyrinthine streets of the Medina, discovering its rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship.
Day 6: Chefchaouen – Meknes – Fez
Depart from Fez and journey through Meknes, stopping to explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis en route to the picturesque city of Chefchaouen. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Rif Mountains and discover Chefchaouen’s famous blue-washed streets and Ras El Ma River before concluding our tour.
